Jefferson County Detectives Need to Identify Suspect in a Robbery

According to a report filed with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office a robbery occurred January 7, 2020, approximately 9 pm, at a Taco Bell in the 100 block of 20th Avenue NE. A black male suspect reportedly entered the store and approached the register. When the cashier opened the drawer, the suspect reached over the counter and took several bills from it before fleeing the area. He is described as a slender black male, at least 6’ tall, with dark brown complexion. He was wearing black clothing and a ball cap. According to witnesses the suspect possibly left the vicinity in a blue vehicle. Detectives obtained surveillance video images of the pictured suspect and the vehicle in which they believe he was travelling.
