On January 25th, two suspects entered a store in Gardendale. One suspect distracted the store owner while the other took money and credit cards from the owner’s purse. The suspects then went to another store and purchased several gift cards. The suspect, who is wearing the Champion sweatshirt, has a tattoo on the back of her right hand that may help to identify her. They left the lot in what appears to be a newer Chevrolet Malibu, black in color. We were advised that the same suspects did the same thing to a store in Hoover earlier the same day.
