According to a report filed with Birmingham PD a vehicle was stolen from a storage lot in the 1500 block of 19th Street Ensley on January 6, 2022, at approximately 6:00 am.  The stolen vehicle, a white 2006 Ford Econoline passenger van, was later recovered in the 2800 block of Avenue C Ensley the same day.  Detectives obtained a surveillance video image of the pictured male in the area during the time the theft occurred and need to identify him as a suspect in this reported crime.  The victim is a nonprofit in the area that serves the community by providing work development to high school students.  This victim has had multiple vehicles stolen since last year adversely impacting its ability to sustain its mission.  If you recognize this suspect, or know anything about this crime, please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.  You remain anonymous and the information you provide to Crime Stoppers leading to the charge and arrest of an identified suspect could result in a cash reward.
