According to a report filed with the Birmingham Police Department, a theft occurred near the 100 block of 12th Street South, Birmingham, Alabama.  According to the report, a black male followed the victim into a secured building.  Once inside he snatched the victims’ purse from her person and fled on foot.  Detectives obtained this photo from video surveillance and are seeking help from the public with identifying the person shown.
