At approximately 8:35 p.m. West Precinct officers were dispatched to a Person Shot call in the 1900 Block of 13th Avenue West. Officers arrived on the scene and then observed the victim lying unresponsive near a curb suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. Details are limited in this investigation. There is no one in custody.
