Jefferson County Detectives Need to Identify Suspects in a Robbery

According to a report filed with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office a robbery occurred January 4, 2020, approximately 7:40 pm, at a Dollar General in the 2300 block of Center Point Parkway. According to witnesses two black male suspects entered the store together at the time of the robbery and went to the cash register. One suspect is described as tall, thin, medium brown skin, in his early twenties, having a scruffy beard and mustache, wearing dreads, and as having feminine mannerisms. The other suspect is described as having an athletic build, possible bald, in his late twenties to early thirties, and 5’5” to 5’6” tall. Both suspects are reported to have worn Nike apparel during the robbery. According to report the shorter suspect, wearing a gray jacket, approached the register. When the cashier opened the cash drawer, he grabbed several bills from it whereupon both suspects fled the store together. Detectives obtained surveillance video images of the pictured suspects.
