Jefferson County Detectives Need to Identify Suspects in a Robbery

According to a report filed with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office a robbery occurred February 10, 2020, approximately 5 p.m., in the 2200 block of Ridgemont Drive. The victim reported that prior to the robbery he was supposed to meet someone named “Slam” to purchase several electronic devices at a Best Buy in the Hoover area, but returned to his residence after the person failed to show. According to report the robbery occurred at the victim’s residence as he was gathering his child and items from the vehicle to go inside. The victim was reportedly carrying a significant amount of cash that was taken from him during the robbery. Detectives obtained video images of the pictured persons during the robbery, described as two black males. Also pictured is the vehicle in which they were reportedly traveling, described as a silver or grey Mercedes sedan.
