Jefferson County Detectives Need to Identify a Suspect in the Fraudulent Use of a Stolen Debit Card

According to a report filed with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office a victim’s vehicle was burglarized between 10 pm February 24, 2020, and 7 am February 25, 2020, in the 3700 block of Chestnut Ridge Lane in the Hoover area. Stolen during the burglary were electronic items, debit/credit cards, and documents of identification belonging to the victim. The victim’s stolen debit card was reportedly used February 25, 2020, at a convenience Store on Dartmouth Avenue in the Bessemer area. Detectives obtained surveillance video images of the pictured suspect and vehicle in which he was traveling, described as a burgundy Hyundai Accent.
