Bessemer Detectives Need Information Regarding the Murder of Michael Jones

The Bessemer Police Department is investigating the murder of Michael Veshaw Jones, reported missing from Mississippi.  According to detectives on May 22, 2020, approximately 3:31 pm, their officers located a truck belonging to Michael Jones.  A continued searched led officers to discover the victim’s body inside an abandon house in the 1800 block of Fairfax Avenue. He had been shot.
