According to a report filed with Birmingham PD a robbery occurred February 15, 2021, approximately 7:30 pm, in the 1600 block of Aspen Run Apartments.  A victim reports he was approached by a young black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jogging pants as he was backing into a parking spot.  The black male produced a hand gun and directed the victim to get out of his vehicle.  The black male then drove away in the victim’s vehicle.  Detectives obtained a video image of a suspect in the area at the time this crime reportedly occurred.  If you recognize this suspect please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.  You remain anonymous and the information you provide to Crime Stoppers leading to the charge and arrest of an identified suspect could result in a cash reward.
