According to a report filed with Birmingham PD a robbery occurred March 14, 2021, approximately 9:40 PM, at a Texaco gas station in the 5900 block of 1st Avenue North.   Detectives obtained surveillance video images of the pictured suspect that reportedly threatened to kill a clerk if he did not give him the money from the cash register.  The suspect is described as a bald black male with light complexion, approximately 6’ tall, 220 lbs., wearing tan cargo shorts, a black and red jacket, and slide type sandals.  Detectives also obtained an image of the pictured vehicle in which they believe the suspect was travelling during the time of the robbery.  It is described as a silver crossover type SUV.  If you recognize this suspect, or know anything about this robbery, please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.  You remain anonymous and the information you provide to Crime Stoppers leading to the charge and arrest of an identified suspect could result in a cash reward.
