On 1/3/25 around 10:20 p.m. Bessemer officers were dispatched to a home in the 1200 block of 13th Street North in Bessemer on a report of a child being shot. Arriving officers found the victim inside the home suffering from an apparent gun shot wound. Bessemer detectives stated that the victim was inside the home when unknown suspect(s) fired multiple rounds into the home from outside.
