205-254-7777On December 15, 2020, approximately 9 pm, a shooting reportedly occurred at a residence in the 1300 block of Fairfax Avenue. Responding officers arrived to find a victim, identified as Dusharme Jones in the floor of the residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim died at the scene. Persons inside the residence reported they had been robbed by a black male subject described as 5’9” tall with a slender build immediately prior to the victim being shot in another part of the house. Upon hearing the shot their assailant ran from the residence following another unidentified male subject.
