According to a report filed with the Birmingham Police Department on July 10, 2024, 55-year-old Jonathan Bradberry was shot and killed as he was driving on I65 North near 32nd Street. He had just left an event in the 600 Block of 9th Street North. A witness reported that someone in a black pick-up truck fired several shots at the victim.
