On December 6, 2025, Nicholas Ratliff was the victim of a homicide in Jefferson County, Alabama. Investigators believe the homicide occurred between approximately 7:40 PM and 7:50 PM.
During the investigation, detectives determined that a stolen vehicle was believed to have been involved in the incident. The vehicle was subsequently recovered burned on December 9, 2025.
Investigators are seeking information from anyone who may have knowledge of the homicide, individuals involved, vehicles associated with the incident, or circumstances surrounding the stolen vehicle being burned.
Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity, observed vehicles traveling in the area around the time of the homicide, or possesses surveillance footage or other information relevant to the investigation is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers.
