Birmingham Police Seeking Information on Homicide

On April 21, 2024, at approximately 2:15am officers were dispatched to Holt Avenue in Pratt City on an Assault call. Officers arrived on the scene and observed the victim, Richard Edwards, lying next to a grey Ford F150 unresponsive and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Police believe the suspects were possibly driving an older model Toyota Camry with faded paint and may have followed the victim from the 500 block of 19^th Street in Ensley to Holt Avenue shooting at him along the way.
