The homicide case of Rodger Burr II still has not been solved. Birmingham Police and the family pf Roderick Burr are asking for your assistance to solve this homicide.

According to a report filed with Birmingham PD a shooting occurred September 30, 2020, approximately 5:30 pm, at the intersection of Carline Avenue and Avenue T.  A silver vehicle reportedly pulled alongside a silver Nissan Rogue at this location, and an unknown assailant fired rounds into it.  Responding officers arrived on the scene to find a black male slumped over the wheel of the Nissan Rogue.  The pictured victim, identified as Rodger Burr II, was determined to have sustained multiple gunshot wounds from which he later died.  According to report multiple potential witnesses were on the scene as officers arrived and detectives believe there could be information vital to this case that they have yet to receive.  If you know anything about this shooting please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.  You remain anonymous and the information you provide to Crime Stoppers leading to the charge and arrest of an identified suspect could result in a cash reward.
