Birmingham Detectives Need Information in a Homicide Investigation

According to a report filed with Birmingham PD, 62 year old victim Brenda Jordan was shot while traveling near the 6700 block of first Ave North near Eastlake. The Incident occurred June 6, 2020, at approximately 4:10 pm. The victim was riding as a passenger with her sister in a white 2011 Toyota Camry when she was shot. The victim’s sister advised they were travelling through the area to buy food to prepare a meal for their families when someone started shooting striking their vehicle. Mrs. Jordan’s sister drove to the Sunoco gas station at 68th St and 1st Ave N where Mrs. Jordan was pronounced dead. The victims were innocent bystanders in this case and at present time detectives have very little information regarding why or how this occurred. They need any information that could help them forward this case in finding the person(s) responsible for Ms. Jordan’s tragic death.
