According to a report filed with Birmingham PD a robbery occurred January 15, 2022, approximately 7:45 pm, at a Family Dollar in the 5400 block of 1st Avenue North.  According to report a black male described as 5’9” tall, 150 lbs., wearing a black and red Jordan hoodie, black sweat pants, and white tennis shoes entered the business and threatened a cashier at gunpoint demanding money.  Detectives obtained surveillance video images of the pictured person inside the business during the time the crime reportedly occurred and deem him to be a suspect.  They need to identify this person.  If you know anything about this crime please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.  You remain anonymous and the information you provide to Crime Stoppers leading to the charge and arrest of an identified suspect could result in a cash reward.
