According to a report filed with Birmingham PD a robbery occurred January 18, 2022, approximately 6:50 pm, at a Walmart in the 1600 block of Montclair Road.  A black male reportedly entered the store, placed several items into a duffel bag, then proceeded to leave the store without paying for them.  When confronted by an employee near the exit he produced a handgun, pointed it at the employee, and threatened to shoot him.  Detectives obtained a surveillance video image of the pictured person inside the store during the time the crime reportedly occurred and need to identify him as a suspect.  He is described as having a slim build, wearing a brown leather jacket and a blue hat.  If you recognize this suspect please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.  You remain anonymous and the information you provide to Crime Stoppers leading to the charge and arrest of an identified suspect could result in a cash reward.
