According to a report filed with Birmingham PD a robbery occurred December 4, 2021, approximately 7:45 pm, at a book store in the 2700 block of Reverend Abraham Woods Jr. Blvd.  A black male described as 5’8” tall, 160 lbs., 30-35 years of age, with should length braids, a mustache, wearing a dark blue vest, gray shirt, and blue jeans, reportedly forced his way into the cash room and demanded money from the register while brandishing a handgun.  Detectives obtained a surveillance video image of the pictured person they believe to be a suspect in this case.  Witnesses believe the pictured suspect was involved in a previous attempted robbery at the same location.  If you recognize this suspect, or know anything about this reported crime, please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.  You remain anonymous and the information you provide to Crime Stoppers leading to the charge and arrest of an identified suspect could result in a cash reward.
