According to a report filed with Birmingham PD a robbery occurred April 7, 2022, approximately 3:10 am, at hotel in the 5200 block of Messer Airport Highway.  A black male reportedly entered the lobby, approached the front desk, and demanded money from the register.  He then pointed a blue and black semi-automatic pistol at the desk clerk and threatened to shoot her if she didn’t give him all the money available to her.  The black male is described as 6’ to 6’3” tall, 180 lbs., and 25-35 years of age.  Detectives obtained surveillance video images of the pictured male subject and need to identify him as a suspect in this case.  If you recognize the pictured suspect, or know anything about this crime, please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.  You remain anonymous and the information you provide to Crime Stoppers leading to the charge and arrest of an identified suspect could result in a cash reward.
