According to a report filed with Birmingham PD a robbery occurred May 15, 2021, approximately 7 pm, at a restaurant in the 2100 block of Carson Road.  A black male reportedly sat inside the business for a prolonged period of time, purchasing a beverage, before approaching the counter while brandishing a gun and demanding the money from the register.  He is described as 6’ tall, 200 lbs., wearing white pants with patch like designs on the knees, a white shirt with red graphics, a gray hat, and a mask.  Detectives obtained video images of the pictured suspect they believe to be this person.  Employees of the restaurant report seeing the person in the business many times before.   A witness observed him walking in the direction of nearby apartments behind the business after the robbery occurred.  If you recognize this suspect, or know anything about this crime, please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.  You remain anonymous and the information you provide to Crime Stoppers leading to the charge and arrest of an identified suspect could result in a cash reward.
