According to a report filed with Birmingham PD a robbery occurred August 13, 2021, approximately 2:30 pm, at a business in the 2300 block of 9th Court South.  An employee of the business was attacked from behind by a black male that he was trying to assist.  The assailant reportedly took cash from the victim’s wallet before leaving the business.  Detectives obtained a surveillance video image of a suspect they believe to be involved.  If you recognize this suspect please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.  You remain anonymous and the information you provide to Crime Stoppers leading to the charge and arrest of an identified suspect could result in a cash reward.
