According to reports filed with Birmingham PD multiple car burglaries have occurred during November and December 2021 in the vicinity of Red Mountain Park.  The nature of these burglaries is similar, all involving forced entry by smashed windows to take items of value inside that were left in plain view.  In a few cases the victims returned to their vehicle to find a black male subject in and around it after forced entry was evident.  He is described as a slender black male 40-50 years of age possibly driving a red four door Subaru with no tag.  Detectives obtained video images of the pictured suspect in the vicinity of one of these crimes during the time it occurred, as well as the vehicle he was driving.  If you recognize this suspect, or know anything about these crimes, please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.  You remain anonymous and the information you provide to Crime Stoppers leading to the charge and arrest of an identified suspect could result in a cash reward.
