205-254-7777According to a report filed with Birmingham PD a robbery occurred April 5, 2022, approximately 9:15 pm, at a Family Dollar in the 500 block of Center Street North. According to report two black males entered the store armed with weapons, one of which fired his weapon into the floor, then proceeded to the cashier’s counter where they demanded the money from the register. The same black male fired a second round into the floor while behind the counter. One black male is described as 20 to 30 years of age, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, 155 lbs. The other is described as 30 to 40 years of age, 5’10” and 170 lbs. Both males reportedly left the scene on foot, running north toward Smithfield projects. Detectives obtained surveillance video images of the pictured persons inside the store during the time the robbery reportedly occurred and need to identify them as suspects in this crime.
