On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, Birmingham Police and Fire Departments responded to a house fire in the 1300 block of Eufaula Avenue. A body was discovered inside this abandoned house, and detectives are conducting a homicide investigation. Detectives need to locate Youitt De Witt Jones, described as 35 years of age and weighing 185 pounds. He no longer has dread locks as in the picture above. He is known to now be bald. He may be travelling in the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 truck shown in the photo above.
