According to a report filed with Birmingham Police, a robbery occurred on February 18, 2023, at approximately 4:50am, in the 1700 Block of Tallapoosa Street.  A victim reported that he was approached by an individual at a gas station who asked for a ride not far from the location and told the victim he would pay him.  While in the vehicle, the pictured individual brandished a firearm and began yelling at the victim.  The victim exited the vehicle and began yelling for help at which point, the suspect exited the vehicle, shot the victim, and stole his vehicle. Detectives obtained this photo from video surveillance and are asking for help from the public with identifying the person shown.
