According to a report filed with the Homewood Police Department, a carjacking occurred on July 9, 2023, at 6am, in the 200 block of West Valley Avenue. The stolen car was a blue Honda Fit. Detectives determined that a suspect driving this same stolen car was later involved in an armed robbery at a convenience store in Henry County Georgia. The stolen car was later found abandoned in Fulton County Georgia. Detectives in Georgia obtained these photos from video surveillance and Homewood Police Detectives are asking the public for help with identifying the person shown.
