Jefferson County Detectives Need Information in a Homicide Case

According to a report filed with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, on July 21, 2020, at approximately 8:35 pm, Devon Johnson (pictured) was shot while standing in the parking lot of the Glen Oaks apartment complex.  The 22 year old died from his gunshot wound, the apparent victim of a homicide. A bystander was also shot during the same incident. According to detectives the shooter, described as wearing all black with his face and head covered, came out from behind a section of the apartment complex and began firing at Devon Johnson. Detectives believe Johnson was the intended target of the assailant.
