According to a report filed with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office a victim was shot April 8, 2021, approximately 10:21 pm, while travelling on Valley Road near Rutledge Drive.  The pictured victim, identified as Kenneth Adams Jr., later died from his gunshot wounds.  He was travelling east in a tan four door 2015 Honda Accord that was found in the middle of Valley Road between Fairfield Blvd and Milstead Road.  Detectives believe that someone travelling in another vehicle fired the multiple rounds that killed Adams.  At the present time there are no suspects or witnesses.  If you know anything about this crime please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.  You remain anonymous and the information you provide to Crime Stoppers leading to the charge and arrest of an identified suspect could result in a cash reward up to $5,000.
