Jefferson County Detectives Need Information Regarding a Robbery Case

According to a report filed with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office a robbery occurred January 18, 2020, at a Dollar General in the 4200 block of Windy Way north of Pinson. Detectives obtained video surveillance images of the pictured assailant, described as a black male of average height and slim build wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, gray gloves, black pants, black sneakers trimmed with white, and armed with a nickel-plated handgun. He reportedly attempted to open a cash register himself before ordering a cashier at gunpoint to open two registers for him. A vehicle in which the suspect was reportedly travelling is described as a Red Nissan SUV, possibly a Rogue.
