According to a report filed with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office several cars were burglarized January 21, 2022, approximately 1:22 am, while on the property of a tire shop in the 3600 block of Van Road in the Trussville area.  The targeted item for theft on these vehicles was the catalytic converter.  Detectives obtained a surveillance video image of a vehicle in the area during the time these crimes occurred, and believe it was transporting the person (s) involved.  If you know anything about these thefts please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.  You remain anonymous and the information you provide to Crime Stoppers leading to the charge and arrest of an identified suspect could result in a cash reward.
