According to several reports filed with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office a spree of thefts occurred May 12, 2022, between 5:00 am and 6:00 am, at several business in the 2200 block of Rocky Ridge Road in the Hoover area. Targeted for theft were several catalytic converters on vehicles maintained by these businesses on their lots. Detectives obtained surveillance video images of the pictured vehicles in which they believe the persons responsible were traveling. The white SUV-type vehicle may have had black spray paint on the driver’s door and a missing headlight.
