Jefferson County Detectives Need to Identify a Suspect in a Burglary

According to a report filed with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office a burglary occurred March 2, 2020, approximately 3:00 am, at a coin laundry in the 1500 block of Center Point Parkway. Forced entry was made into the business through a cinder block wall facing Center Point Parkway. Detectives believe at least two subjects were involved. Detectives obtained surveillance video images of the pictured subject, described as a black male wearing white or light-colored pants and a hooded jacket, inside the business during the time the burglary occurred. This subject attempted to make forcible entry into a money machine on an inside wall of the business. During this attempt it appears he set off an audible alarm causing him to flee. According to report there is indication one or both subjects involved fled toward some nearby apartments.
