The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of Mr. Michael Ray Moore (age 33). Mr. Moore routinely walked along Aaron Aronov Drive while traveling to and from work. In the early morning hours on March 22, 2023, Mr. Moore was found by a passerby, lying in the grass on the side of the road in the 6600 block of Aaron Aronov Drive. Detectives believe Mr. Moore was struck by a vehicle sometime between 10pm on March 21st and 7am on March 22nd . Mr. Moore was transported to the hospital where he later died. Detectives are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any knowledge about it.
