Talladega Detectives Need Information Regarding Murder of Nijah Curry

On April 7, 2020, approximately 8:37 pm, Talladega PD received a call reporting multiple gunshots in the 400 block of Coosa Street West in Talladega. Witnesses told arriving officers that the shots may have come from a residence near the intersection of Coosa Street West and Jackson Street. Investigating officers went to a residence in this area and found a black male with multiple gunshot wounds apparently deceased. He was identified as Nijah Latajuan Curry, age 22, of Talladega. Detectives advise there was no indication this was the result of a robbery or burglary.
