Talladega Detectives Need Information Regarding Murder of Patrick Swain

On April 8, 2020, approximately 10:12 pm, Talladega PD received a call reporting multiple gunshots in the area of West Street in Talladega. Responding officers searched the area and located a black male down and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in Henderson Street near the intersection of West Street. The victim, identified as Patrick Demetrius Swain, was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives obtained surveillance video evidence indicating a yellow or gold 4 door sedan was travelling in the area during the time Swain was shot and believe it could be involved. Detectives also believe this homicide could be connected to one occurring the day before involving a victim identified as Nijah Curry.
