On August 22,2026 at approximately 8:30pm Birmingham officers were dispatched to the 7000 block of 6th Avenue North on shots fired. Upon arrival officers observed a black male that appeared to be suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. The male was taken for from the scene by medical personnel to a local hospital.
