On Saturday October 7th, 2023, between 2:00am and 2:15am the Hueytown Police Department received a call reporting a drive by shooting in the 1000 block of 27th Ave. Upon arrival, officers and fire medics found a deceased male juvenile in the back seat of a vehicle.
